There is no doubt that schools across Pickaway County are in full swing. This is one of my favorite times of the year when families and school staff are continuing the old and discovering new elements of that critical partnership between home and school. It is quite a blessing to watch these partnerships come alive. I cannot say enough about our staff for their hard work, dedication, and preparation to make this a fantastic year. It also reminds me just how blessed this county is with great public schools. There are many viable choices in our county for where a parent chooses to send their child, and it’s important to note that New Hope Christian Academy is not here to compete against or work against the public school options. Our goal at New Hope is to be a place for our community where parents can invest in a different type of legacy for their children. A legacy that is eternal. New Hope is a school where students can thrive academically through rigorous and relevant curriculum and instruction in not only core subjects, but also in the fine arts and technology. These opportunities provide our students with a world of possibilities as they graduate and move on to the next season of their lives. More importantly, that legacy involves an intentional and determined focus to help our students realize the life that God has designed, prepared, and laid before them as a disciple and follower of Jesus Christ. It is a tremendous honor to step into this new role as Head of School. This is an opportunity I am incredibly grateful to be afforded. We are excited to see what this year has in store!
